Kayla Banks, Owner & Principle Designer/Planner

Kayla specializes in conveying one-of-a kind uniqueness to each and every event. Kayla began her career in the fashion industry as a designer/merchandiser. This experience was the foundation for the great sense of style, faultless organizational skills, and unquestionable leadership abilities that she applies today to on every event.

While designing and planning weddings, events, and boutique openings for acquaintances, she realized her eye for design and passion for detailed perfection could help others orchestrate unforgettable events which would allow everyone in attendance to participate in the romance and sophistication of the moment, but not the stress. Kayla received her certification as a “Professional Bridal Consultant”™ from the Association of Bridal Consultants, then launched A Perfect Touch Weddings & Events in San Diego. In 2004, Kayla, her husband Alexander, and daughter Alexis relocated to the fabulous city of Austin, Texas, where A Perfect Touch continues to offer the same superior service.

Emily Shelton, Custom Event Designer/Planner

Inspired by her love to make things beautiful and planning her own wedding, Emily became interested in event planning. She is currently obtaining her certification from Nuptial Essentials, the only wedding consultant school to have earned a license as a vocational school from the state of Texas. She has worked with her husband an Executive Chef, for over 5 years in the planning, preparing, and executing catering events in the Dallas and Austin area. She has also worked with brides and planned several bridal events as the Bridal Specialist at Ann Taylor. She brings a sophisticated style and fun to create unforgettable celebrations that exceed the host's expectations. Emily earned a B.S. degree in Business Management from Kanas State University.
